ATM limits & fees

The limit on ATM withdrawals from most overseas accounts is 1,000 pesos, and the limit on withdrawals from PayPal accounts is 300 pesos. The transaction fee is $3USD per transaction which is on top of the fee that the overseas bank charges.

Although many ATMs will ask if you want to withdraw US dollars or pesos, you can only withdraw pesos. This is most likely because it was permitted at one time; they change the laws in Argentina every few months.
